This picture was taken after my third and final session which is why some of the tree branches are bloody.
This is my 5th tattoo and by far my favorite thus far. I have a heart condition called Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT for short) and dealt with a lot of emergency room/hospital visits throughout high school until I finally had surgery to correct it. I’ve been attack free for over 3 years and I wanted to get a tattoo to remind me of that time in my life and how far I’ve come since then.
The tree growing out of it is a symbol of my love for all things nature, and my belief that humans and nature are connected in so many ways. (And my two birds who recently passed away make an appearance on the tree branches.)Done by Jason Lambert at Black Cat Tattoos in Pittsburgh.
